It really bugs me when I have to do stories like this. Everytime there's a shark attack, all the mainstream media immediately jump on the "Jaws" bandwagon, reporting great white sharks and using word like "deadly" or "shark-infested" when it's really just not true (as I point out in the article 5 fatal shark attacks per year vs 200 fatal elephant attacks!).

Just makes me think it's going to be hard to get support to stop shark finning when the media is hyping everyone into fear and reports on every single incident.
