New to the site, so I may be suggesting something thats 'old hat'.

I have always found reviews of dive sites and dive centres to be really helpful...or maybe of whole locations. Would be great to have that function here too, although I understand that it would need policing etc to make sure inappropriate or libellous declarations werent made. I would definately contribute and review where I have been and with whom I have dived.

We have lots of guides here www.thescubasite.com/Scuba-Diving-Locations/ (on the left menu under "dive destinations". Some of them indeed are user written.

yeah, had a read of them and they are really good. I was thinking of reviews of centres for example...were they helpful, friendly, have decent kit, expensive, safe etc. Ive had the misfortune of diving with some real cowboys and I think such things would raise awareness.
