Our poll of "how old were you when you started scuba diving?" has come to an end with 243 respondents.

Interestingly, over 50% of you started diving between 21-40 years old, but there is still a huge portion that started diving between 11-20 years old, which is great news.

This research shows that with courses such as the and with the reduced cost of diving, there is a huge crop of young divers joining the fold, which is a stark contrast to not many years ago.

One great thing is that we have a few divers getting their fins when for the first time at older than 70! It goes to show if you look after yourself, it's never too late to start!
