The bodies of two as of yet unidentified male divers have been discovered in underwater caves in Pasco County, Florida.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office, said a car belonging to one of the divers was found on Wednesday, at School Sink in Hudson, a sinkhole on private property located approximately 30 miles to the north of Tampa. While cave diving is popular in many of the springs in north-central Florida, it is still considered a dangerous activity, with the caves running dark and deep, making the many branches hard to navigate. A spokesman for the sheriff's office said while the divers did obtain permission to dive on the property, it is unclear whether they were probably qualified for such a dive. |
