So when I was reading through the diver kills shark story, I was kind of torn.

Okay, the guy has a lot of diving experience and is probably pretty good at reading animals, but I still feel sorry for the shark that probably suffered for a long time as it was being speared.

However, I guess you can't wait until a 12 foot tiger shark takes a bite before you decide what to do - and the shark could have swam off at any time?

What are your guys thoughts?

Absolutely DISGUSTING this really pisses me off

This was a total uneccesary killing its seems they got some great video and pictures they must of been really scared that they all stayed in the water while this monster was trying to eat them

I believe the real story is they see a Tiger Shark and think wow lets all shoot it and you mate take the photos while we Murder it.

We will be superstars.

What you really are are is a disgrace to the dive industry

If you look at where the spears are in the shark they are all shot from above the shark directly down on the sharks head meaning they were free diving down.

You could of easily left the water with each one of you covering the other if it was so aggressive.

The you just tossed it back into the sea I hope one day you meet your demise in a similar disgusting manner.

The shark wasnt being aggressive and tigers generally dont show aggression towards divers. He killed this innoccent animal for no reason other than to boast about it!

Similiar opinions to most other divers I've spoken to. It's interesting as non-divers seem to think, great well done he killed a sea beast and divers are totally against it.

I was questioning the fact why at some point during the "two hour battle" they couldn't just get out of the water. If they were free diving, they must have surfaced regularly during this period anyway..

Does bring a lot of attention to their new documentary though.. I do smell a rat

I don't understand why normally the people don't trust someone know the truth.

As experienced diver told them, sharks are not dangerous at most of the time. They will look at you as u r a shark

I think still we need try to pass the messag to these people. with posotive thinking.. Better not to speak negetives of sharks.. I think the first impression what people get about shark is very negetive..

We all have to find a way to pass this mesaage positively to new generations.
