I did it! I have managed to pass the first open water. Now I just need to learn to dive! Going to Wraysbury to do a first dive with my instructor. I love diving, the feeling of freedom, and weightlessness. The only thing I really hate is the stride entry, I do it in the pool and the lake, but I am terrified of heights, cannot even look over my own banisters! It just doesn't seem to be getting easier as everyone says it will! LOL I suppose every sport has a downside!

You should go shore diving, you just walk in, no stride entries.

Just got back from Stoney Cove, have completed and passed the advanced diver, so now even better prepared for Turkey! A very good but extremely tiring weekend, weather was very good and visibility was good to so fun all round.
