I've only just signed up and posted a message to introduce myself.
When I tried to preview the post, nothing happened, just a white a grey bar which looked like it was waiting to show me the preview. In the end I got bored waiting and posted it anyway.

Just tried it again with the this message, same thing happened.

It has been over a year since this was reported. Is it going to get fixed or is it something that we need to learn to live with?

The board software used is Fireboard. Unfortunately, it's a bug within the code.

I looked into it quite a lot and it's a conflict caused by other Javascript on the site.

Unfortunately, it's doesn't seem to be on Fireboard's priority list to fix.

I've made a few customisations to Fireboard, but playing with its Javascript libraries usually ends in disaster.

The best I could do at the moment is remove the button, but I haven't done that as I've been hoping for a fix.

You'll just have to go all in and post without previewing

I found the cause was a javascript conflict with some more important functionality, so I've removed preview to avoid confusion. Hope this is okay
