So I had a play about with some SMB at the week end, along with doing the SMB spec and now looking to buy my own.

Any pointers/ suggestions before my next investment?

I was looking at a good size Buddy SMB and scubapro reel.

The Buddy self-sealing DSMB is about as good as it gets, it only gets better by adding a cylinder to it. Taller DSMB's tend to fall over without a lot of weight hanging on them.

Reels, I use Kent Tooling reels as they are indestructible. Made of stainless steel they are heavy but solid.
