Being that I live in eastern Canada and have snow half the year I need to store my equipment for the winter. Can anyone tell me the best way to protect my regulator for long term storage? I was told that the regulator can dry up inside.

I also need to know if it’s necessary to take to battery out of my dive computer before storage.

If you're storing your gear for any length of time, I'd suggest getting it serviced pre-dive anyway, which should stop any fubars.

Your dive watch should go onto standby when not in use, so the battery should last ages - I wouldn't take it out.
