I am looking for some help here,

I recently purchased the Scbuapro T-Force BCD and as far as I can tell the clasp for holding the tank in place does not seem particularly secure. I can not work out how it is actually going to hold the tank in place!

I might be just being completely idiotic, but if someone could put my mind to rest I would be very grateful

Thank you

Scubapro have been using that type of clasp for years. It does work as long as you pull it tight enough before pulling the clasp over.

Is it just the single band with the plastic bit that folds back on itself?

No, it is a metal clasp which appears to offer no friction/resistance when it is pulled over. I have used the plastic ones before and they 'snap closed' and need a significant amount of force to open them again. This one does not, the clasp seems to open with little pressure. I am fairly sure that jumping into the water from a boat will be enough to jolt this open.

I have searched the archives of google and can fine no pictures of the back of this BCD to establish what it happening!

Any chance that you can take a picture and upload it?

I have never seen a metal buckle on a BCD lol! I could have probably googled that! Really need to think about what I write first lol! Oh well there for future reference now!
